This comes right off the heals of the Los Angeles District Attorney announcing a crack down.  This certainly has been a roller coaster ride and money spent fighting this battle could be spent wisely in helping individuals with their healthcare issues instead.  I appears now as long as there’s no profit being made the dispensary should be ok.  BD

Pot Dispensaries in LA Operating Illegally – City Attorney Headed to Tie up the Courts Over This Again

From a prior post:

Here we go again, more money spent on the marijuana subject again.  I am neutral on this topic as far as pot itself and do not have a card and am not in medical need for relief and am not a user, but darn the money and time this is all taking and the waste that keeps going in and out of the courts.

The Obama administration announced today that people buying and selling marijuana for state-condoned medical uses should not be targeted for federal arrest or prosecution.

The states that permit some medical marijuana use include: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.
The justice department memo comes soon after an announcement that Los Angeles would begin cracking down on its 1,000-odd marijuana dispensaries, many of which may illegally be making a profit, The New York Times reported.

The states that permit some medical marijuana use include: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.

Observations: Medical marijuana no longer a priority for federal prosecution
