This slide show combines both HealthVault and information on the Common User Interface.  If you are not familiar with the Common User Interface it is open source code at Code Plex that anyone can download and develop to create simple yet dynamic screens for entering and viewing patient data.  The eventual goal is to embrace the interface at numerous facilities and hospital so you don’t have doctors and staff members having to learn multiple EMR/EHR systems.  Once MD told me he had to learn 5 different systems to get through his internship with different hospitals.

There are additional links below with videos on the Common User Interface and it is free again for anyone to work with and develop and there’s a forum set up where developers can share notes and comments as well so everyone is helping everyone else.  To view the demonstrations on each module you can click here.  You do need Silverlight installed to view.  BD
